The journey
Six stages. Find the one that's costing you people.
Prospecting fails in specific places, not generally. Each stage below starts with the failure in plain language — read the one that sounds like your week.
01Traffic“Nobody sees what I post.”Attention is the input to everything else. If your posts reach almost nobody, every later stage is starved no matter how good your scripts are.02Leads“My list is random people, not buyers.”A large list of the wrong people performs worse than a small list of the right ones. This stage is about who is on your list, not how many.03Prospecting“I've run out of people to talk to.”The stage where most people stall. The warm list runs out, referrals dry up, and there is no system for what comes next — so activity stops.04Contact“I don't know what to say.”Knowing who to talk to is useless if the first message stops the conversation. This stage is about openers, permission, and not leading with a link.05Follow-up“They watched it and then went quiet.”Most interest dies here, not because people said no, but because nobody said anything next. This stage is about having a specific next question.06Conversion“They're interested but never actually join or buy.”Warm people stay warm forever unless something moves them. Usually the missing piece is not persuasion — it is a specific, easy next step.
